About

My name is Pim Huijnen (Heerlen, 1979) and I work as an assistant professor in Digital Cultural History at Utrecht University’s Department of History and Art History. My research focuses on the use of digital text analysis to investigate the history of science and the history of ideas. I am, in particular, interested in conceptual history and the circulation of knowledge between the scientific, political and commercial domains and popular culture.

For an extensive overview of my experience, see my CV (pdf) or LinkedIn profile. For more information about my research and teaching, see the tabs on top.
